Plastic. The rubber bands are not the best. One broke during install. Lucky it includes 4. zip ties are very thin. Overall, it holds cell phones well
The mount mechanism is great. Easy to use and install. The adhesive is not so good, started coming off slowly after two days. Had to use my own double sided tape.
