I ordered this rod a few years ago with Boberia for my son, but it turned out to be a bomb. He has caught big bass with it and I still have it like new. We are still fishing with it today and I ordered another one for my other son. It's excellent shoes, it comes with a reel with a lot of nylon line, and honestly, that's very good for beginners.

This will be a good fishing pole for my grandson to learn how to fish with. The tackle is garbage and the string is garbage. I restrung the reel and threw a a couple of casts. I think it will be just fine for him to learn how to fish with.
