working, I only tested one SATA port, but I believe the others are okay. well packed in a cardboard box.
I couldn't install it on the notebook card due to the components on the back of the card which was the purpose, so I will have to buy a PCI-E extender. However, I tested it on a regular motherboard and it worked normally. I didn't find any RAID options on the device itself and it left me a bit disappointed.

It hasn't been installed yet, but it comes with tools and I think it's kind. I bought it after seeing other people's reviews. The motherboard's specification is such that when using M.2, some SATA ports become unusable, so it serves both as a supplement and expansion for the insufficient SATA ports. I would be happy if it performs as expected.

Arrived quickly, well packaged, even a small screw and screwdriver are included. During operation, the chip heats up quite noticeably, so some active cooling will need to be considered.

Despite the box being crushed in shipping, the adapter card works well. I plugged 6 ssd's into it and ran crystaldiskmark on all 6 drives at once, they could all read/write above 150mb/s at the same time. The picture of the single crystaldiskmark shows what one of these drives is capable of for comparison. Unfortunatly the m.2 slot is pcie 3.0 and i don't know how many pcie lanes it has as the board is a small embedded nas board with little information. Bottom line is it's a stable adapter card, works well and won't bottleneck spinning hard drives.

I didn't do an exact speed test, but when I connected the remaining 6 old SDDs in a span, it got around 100mb/s to 600mb/s. The stitching is good and sturdy. It exceeds expectations. Well made

The device works great! I inserted the adapter into the passive PCI-E adapter with the M.2 port of the desktop PC, and the connected SATA drives work and even appear in the PC's BIOS as bootable. Super!

The M.2 to SATA adapter works perfectly.
Beware! Although the device works and is connected to m.2 port that is supposed to work through fast pci express protocol, the final tested speed of file transfer occurs to be as via regular usb protocol, that is 15-30 mb/s between two installed healthy hdds. If you mind this fact, think twice if it is sufficient to your needs.

Quick delivery and good quality ! I highly recommend, i have it placed in truenas server (5x 6tb hdd in zfs raidz2) without any errors on sata interfaces ! Avoid the m2 to sata nvme adapter based on jmb585 chip, it is unreliable and generate many sata i/o errors, therefore i had to replace with this item based on asm1166.
Bought for the second time, top part 100% compatible.
The board is produced by panhong-tech. The main controller is asmedia-1166. The controller has 1 more port than jbm585 and more energy efficient. I got v1.5 which is the latest at the moment. The firmware is not the newest one, but it can easily be reflashed. With the latest firmware version the energy efficiency is higher, especially in deep-sleep mode. The uart and i2c pins have to be manually soldered, the pin step is 2.0mm. The board has a back support plate which makes it much more reliable and durable. The kit includes a screwdriver and a mounting screw.

I was using an extension card for the Kiwa Mono series aimed atηδΊΊεΏ, but I was dissatisfied with the startup time. Knowing that there is an expansion card with m.2 when upgrading to win11 this time, when i painted it on amazon, it was about a third of the price here, so i think the damage is small even if it doesn't work. It arrived in about a week and started up without any problems after installation. I am only connected to three units, but I am satisfied because the startup has become quite fast. I hope it will last longer.
