It's not suitable for all types of rules and thicknesses, I recommend buying it as a set and not loose like I did.
Basic tool, but very handy. It's one of those tool box add-ons that you will never think you needed until you get one. Once you start using it you will wonder where it was all your life.

The ruler guide is well-made of aluminum and performs its function effectively. for tightening it is advisable to use a Phillips screwdriver as the two helical screws cannot be locked with just fingers.

I need to do something to the opening for the rule, it's something easy to do and it will look great. very good product.
The material of the product is sturdy and good. However, it cannot be used in various ways, and the product's function is simple with only one use for scale fixing. Is there a need to incur separate costs? No questions are appearing. The thickness becomes thinner and applying fixation in one direction rather than both directions seems simpler and will alleviate inconvenience during use.

This is a cracking good tool accessory and it's just so, so useful to have in your tool box. I now have two of these - as if two of you are wanting to use the same accessory at the same time they don't have to wait till the other is finished. It's so well made of good quality metal that i'm sure that - unless you drop it into flames hot enough to melt it - it's going to last you a very, very long time. So it's a highly recommended buy from me.

The item is good quality, and the seller is good. Arrived earlier than promised. It does fit well on a steel ruler, but the two screws being on opposite sides, does cause issues when positioning on thin materials…. It is only useful on table edges or thicker materials.
Fits good on one of my rulers, just big enough to fit a small one though, so it wont fit on a bigger one, good items for the price.
