I notice that I saw the same lamp with battery and charger cheaper? The lamp is powerful, very red, excellent for the forest, the night does not bother the animals.
This is small and bright and simple. There is no variable brightness and flashing modes, however these are pretty gimmicky anyway. It switches on and off. Given you want to keep your night vision you probably wouldn't want it any brighter. I was expecting the glass/lens to be tinted red and it having a standard white led for some reason, however the glass is clear and it's the led which is red. It seems very good.
