I bought it in 2.9" with red and black. It takes more than 20 seconds to update and does not support partial updates. the one that has only black I have read on the internet that yes and it completes in 3 seconds. Be careful because depending on the use, it might not be worth buying the one with red.
Now i have my own tabletop calendar and outside weather information. Don't know yet how long it goes on the battery.
Great product! The main problem was with the display driver, but solution was quickly found on github page.

Everything works, but it was surprise for me that 3-color e-ink modules do not support partial update. Not only weact, all 3-color modules. So only full image update and it is 2-3sec.

I have 2 displays: 4" monochrome and this one is 2.9" three-color. with the first no problems, with this itβs just terrible. It constantly flickeres, the partial update seems to not work at all. I think monochrome is better.

works well, there is no partial refresh function of image, only complete reset. free refresh. it's ok anyway
I'm already buying my third display - the color ones have a huge refresh time, about 27 seconds per frame, so I purchased a black and white display, whose refresh time is much shorter (according to the datasheet, less than 2 seconds). I'll test it and update my review afterwards. One star less because the black and white display did not come with a cable for connection and debugging (the color display did).
The screen works but it is difficult to find the pineado.

Well, 11 days to kyiv, ua. This looks good but it's still rather black on gray, not white. So many years of e-ink and still they can't do it white.
